A little paint with breakfast?

I'm finding little gaps in my day to paint again. I keep my watercolours in a box by the kitchen table. So far in the last 24 hours I've found two unexpected moments to paint.

The first was the 15mins before bed, after bath, pj's and snack. The baby was not quite ready to lie down so we both did a little painting. I keep her watercolours with mine and so she paints with me. I also keep a stack of her paintings and she just continues to work on them, to avoid the "incredible paper hunt" every time she wants to paint.

The second moment was during breakfast, while drinking my tea and eating my lentil soup. Somehow I got a little art in then too. This is very satisfying and magical and I'm so grateful for the ease of this.

To hit the point home you can read this article on the importance and benefits of doing a little art everyday.

(I love reading articles about stuff I'm already doing. It's such an easy way to brag. ;))
